Rushcliffe Cycle Tech is South Nottinghamshire's leading independent bicycle mobile repair, service & component supply specialist. With expertise in all road, offroad and older bicycles, and as a keen multidisciplined cyclist of 3 decades with over 2 decades of mechanical experience, I understand your needs & expectations.

Once you have contacted to discuss your requirments & arrange a time slot, Rushcliffe Cycle Tech will travel to your home or workplace (including evenings or weekends) anywhere within the Rushcliffe District to conduct mobile repairs or collect your bicycle for more complex repairs, servicing or upgrades to be carried out at my fully equipped workshop in West Bridgford, with prompt return delivery upon completion.

My services are entirely direct & personal with high professionlism & integrity, usually only found with smaller independent businesses. Equipped with the latest tooling & lubricants from Park, Finishline, Wera, Shimano, Pedros & Morgan Blue to name a few.

Many common components such as chains, cassettes, brake pads, cables, brake hose, innertubes, tyres & bearings are always kept in stock to aid a fast turnaround. Non-stock components can usually be ordered in (pre 12:30pm weekdays) for next working day delivery.

Upgrade & maintenance advice can be provided. I currently cater to a huge variety of cyclists - from the occasional recreational & commuters, right through to current & former professional cyclists & even GB Olympians!   • SILVER SERVICE £54.95 (equivalent Stage 2/ Mini) INC FREE COLLECTION & RETURN OF YOUR CYCLE - Inspection of all bearings for play/roughness/operation & carefully adjust preload within within headset, hubs & bottom bracket where required. Check & realign gear hanger, index all gears, set limits, measure chain for wear/check condition. Check operation of brakes, pad wear/contact & adjust. Check function & condition of all cables. Removal of seatpost & pedals to clean & re-lube fittings. Check wheel & tyre condition, spoke tension & correctly inflate tyres. Inspect entire bike for visual signs of structural damage, corrosion etc. Check function of all suspension components, bearing pivots etc & re-pressurize where req'd. Check all main bolts torqued on bike. Full hot wash by hand/degrease drivetrain/hand dry/polish & re-lube chain. Test ride and safety check.
  • GOLD SERVICING £87.95 (equivalent Stage 3/ Full) INC FREE COLLECTION & RETURN OF YOUR CYCLE - Removal of all loose main ball bearings (headset, hubs & bottom bracket) to clean, inspect, re-grease & rebuild. Check & realign gear hanger, index all gears, set limits, measure chain for wear/check condition. Check operation of brakes, pad wear/contact & adjust. Check function/condition of all cables. Removal of seatpost & pedals to clean & re-lube fittings. Check wheel & tyre condition, spoke tension & correctly inflate tyres. Please note at this time Rushcliffe Cycle Tech does NOT carry out service, repair or modification work on any modified e-bike or e-bike electrical components such as motors, batteries or associated wiring. Heavily soiled bicycles may incur an additional cleaning charge, to avoid this please try to ensure your bicycle is relatively clean upon collection. Service prices exclude any replacement parts. Costs will always be discussed & agreed upfront, with any additional work discussed prior to being undertaken - you will never be hit with a surprise bill. Payment due upon completion/handover. If you require a particularly fast turn-around then please make this clear at time of booking. Any cancellations made within 24hrs of visit time may incur a £10.00 cancellation fee.
